What is the 2020 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $19,051 sits slightly below last year's $21,861.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history rather than broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should hold up better than average because buyers still respond to the Q5’s upscale feel and strong owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,558, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $19,051 average.
• It adds a plug-in hybrid option for buyers who want electrified driving.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the stronger buy because pricing has softened and inventory is broad. If you’re willing to pay more for the newer year’s plug-in hybrid option, the 2021 is the better secondary path.
