The Premium trim comes standard with 18-inch wheels, Audi’s smartphone interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED lighting, and keyless access and entry. The Premium Plus trim adds full LED headlights, a full LCD instrument cluster, and a panoramic sunroof. Finally, the Prestige trim comes with a power-adjustable steering column, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a head-up display (HUD). Every Q5 comes with forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking. The Premium Plus trim and above come with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and vehicle-exit assist. The available Driver Assistance Package, now offered at the Premium Plus trim, comes with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assist, and active lane assist. The Q5 earned mostly Good crash-testing ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in 2019. The Audi Q5 holds its own in the luxury segment, with plenty of tech, comfort, and good looks.
