Why it stands out
The 2019 Chevrolet Equinox sets itself apart in the compact SUV segment with its commendable blend of comfort, performance, and safety features. After undergoing a redesign, it brought valuable improvements such as HD rear-view and surround-view cameras, which are crucial for enhancing visibility in a vehicle known for its cramped rear sightlines. The revamped infotainment system now includes features for better connectivity, pairing well with modern tech like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, the availability of multiple engine options, including a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, caters to a range of driving needs, ensuring drivers have plenty of power when required. While it offers strong reliability and a solid reputation, some limitations like the higher cost for advanced safety features and tighter cargo space compared to its competitors may be considerations for potential buyers.
