Buyers will find its redesigned exterior appealing, highlighted by a new, larger grille and updated taillights that now utilize LED technology. Under the hood, the updated 3.5-liter V6 engine provides increased power, delivering a 25 hp boost—essential for a confident driving experience. The addition of the Toyota Safety Sense suite ensures that the Highlander remains competitive in terms of safety, offering advanced features like adaptive cruise control and lane-departure warning.
While it doesn’t lead the segment in power or cargo capacity, its interior design, characterized by innovative storage solutions and a spacious third row, enhances its usability. Nicest car I’ve ever owned! Beautiful color, absolutely loaded with options. Comfortable, great power, handles well in snow. Easy access to third row with captains’ seats in second row. Easy to operate radio/clock/blue tooth. It’s similar to Honda Pilot, but maybe a bit smaller. I traded in a Honda CRX and found Highlander just as easy to drive and park. Excellent value.
