Why it stands out
The 2017 Ford Edge serves as an excellent choice for buyers looking for a versatile midsize crossover. It comfortably seats five passengers and boasts an impressive cargo capacity ranging from 39.2 cubic feet with the seats up to 73.4 cubic feet when folded down. Drivers appreciate its performance, thanks in part to options including a robust 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 315 horsepower. The Edge's design strikes a balance between stylish appeal without being over-the-top, making it suitable for family use or daily commutes. Additionally, while the interior is generally well-appointed, the abundance of storage cubbies enhances practicality. The 2017 model has received high marks from users for its ride comfort and driving experience, though some feedback highlights concerns over fuel economy in the more powerful trims and the absence of all-wheel drive options. Overall, the Edge presents a compelling mix of performance, space, and value.

I never had a problem with my 2017 Edge. At 65000 miles I got a notice from Ford that due to engine problems they needed to replace engine. Brought it in when they got the engine in stock. No charge. Then got a notice about the transmission. Brought it in. No charge. Car now has 95,000 miles. No problems so far except new battery which Aaa replaced for $85. mechanic told me Ford Edge is the best car Ford makes.

I lucked out and got a good buy. Get an extended warranty. The Titanium trim level has all you need. Waiting for the software update for the infotainment center.

This car is a great car for someone who lives in a winter climate. It has great clearance and with snow tires can easily go through a foot of snow with the all-wheel-drive model with no worries! I like that has space for my kids and my stuff. I like that it’s comfortable and it’s not too big. I like that it’s easy on gas!
