Used 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class for Sale nearLos Angeles, CA

How much does the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class cost?

Prices have softened 7.92% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,686 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing options.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class a good car?

Yes — 4.6/5 is a strong user rating, and owners consistently praise the luxurious feel, impressive performance, and attractive design. The review summary also points to strong technology appeal and a premium cabin experience, which fits a compact luxury sedan that leans into comfort and style. For you, that makes this a good fit if you want an upscale daily driver with broad appeal across comfort and performance priorities. With 35.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to a car that many owners find dependable in day-to-day use, with praise centered on its luxury feel, performance, and technology. At the same time, some owners mention missing features and a few highway-speed vibration concerns, so you should pay close attention to how a used example has aged. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a car with unresolved wear or neglected maintenance rather than a well-kept one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

At 52.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on bodywork quality, alignment, and signs of uneven wear, since those can reveal past collision issues. It also makes sense to prioritize overall condition and maintenance records, especially if you want a car that still feels as refined as it should.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,686 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.92% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 52.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,563, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class's resale value?

The current average of $13,563 sits slightly below last year's $14,729.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy at a better entry point but may also limit short-term appreciation if you plan to resell soon. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation. A clean history and strong maintenance record matter more when the market is already pricing the model below its prior-year level.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 52.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $17,142, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $13,563 average.
• It keeps the same familiar luxury-sedan formula with a stronger emphasis on continuity.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2016 is the smarter starting point because it combines a lower average price with strong owner satisfaction. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model-year alternative, the 2017 is the secondary path to consider.
