Summary
With 127 currently listed for sale and an average price of $13,848.00, 29.9% of 2015 Toyota Venzas for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Toyota Venza 4 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it a 6.5 / 10.

Why it stands out
The 2015 Toyota Venza stands out as a roomy, practical crossover with appealing design and an indisputable value equation. It is the kind of vehicle that should attract buyers looking for space and usefulness without giving up a polished look, and it can represent a strong deal for shoppers who are focused on value.
Its biggest drawback is that it does not deliver the convenience, infotainment, and safety features many buyers expect, which can make it less appealing to a younger, more tech-focused audience. Interest in the Venza was waning after seven years without a redesign, and Toyota announced that it would be discontinued at the end of this model year.

We are very pleased with the 2015 Venza XLE Awd, purchased from a local dealership. The Venza has many features that compare with the more expensive crossover Makes in its class. A roomy, nicely appointed interior with plenty of storage, along with a smooth quiet ride make it a perfect car for us. This model has the V-6 engine coupled with a six-speed transmission which provides plenty of power even for cruising through the high mountain passes of Colorado with a load. Fuel economy is about what we expected and does not require premium gasoline, another plus.

Great value on a Toyota, lots of features (sun/moon roof, leather, heated seats). Spacious passenger seating.

2015 Toyota Venza Price Trends
CarGurus tracks the prices of millions of used car listings every year. See how the average price of 2015 Toyota Venza prices has changed over time.
See more price trendsHow much does the 2015 Toyota Venza cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $13,908 |
| Year-Round Low | $13,260.82 |
| Year-Round High | $14,103.34 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $13,806 |
| Change vs. Last Year | +0.74% |
Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.
There are 120 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.
If you find a listing below $13,260.82, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
Is the 2015 Toyota Venza a good car?
Generally — the 2015 Toyota Venza earns 4/5 from users and 6.5/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.
It fits you well if you want a roomy, practical crossover with an appealing design and strong value. The tradeoff is that it feels dated in convenience, infotainment, and safety equipment, which can make it less compelling if you want a more modern daily driver.
The market shows 30.0% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2015 Toyota Venza reliable?
Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.
The review points to low ownership costs and strong dependability, and it also notes that Toyota includes free scheduled maintenance for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles of ownership. The Venza’s simple, long-running design also helps explain why it has a reputation for quality and durability.
For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that age and limited modern equipment may matter more than mechanical durability.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Venza?
At 50.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on bodywork, alignment, and signs of prior repair. Focus on overall condition and equipment completeness, since this model year’s appeal depends heavily on finding a clean example that still feels well cared for.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The LE is the most basic version, while the XLE offers the greatest variety and the Limited adds the most equipment. Base versions miss the richer feature content and the more upscale presentation found higher up the range.
- Powertrain: LE models are offered solely with a 4-cylinder engine, while Limited models come with a standard V6 engine and all-wheel drive. The V6 is described as robust and quick, and the Venza returns 21 mpg in combined driving according to the review.
- Safety package: The Venza includes a reversing camera, and parking sensors are available. It does not offer blind-spot warning, forward-collision warning, or autonomous emergency braking, and Toyota Safety Connect is not available on any trim.
- Infotainment: Toyota’s Entune touchscreen is present, but the available systems are limited to Bluetooth music streaming, App Suite smartphone pairing, an available hard-drive navigation system, and an optional JBL premium audio system.
- Fuel efficiency: The review cites 21 mpg in combined driving, and notes that the Venza does not achieve its EPA fuel economy ratings.
Which 2015 Toyota Venza trim should I buy?
The 2015 Toyota Venza is offered in 3 trim levels: LE, XLE, and Limited.
Here's the short version:
- Base trim: The LE is the simplest choice, and it lacks the richer equipment and upscale feel that make the higher trims more appealing. It also misses the more complete feature set you may want if you care about convenience and modern safety tech.
- Sweet-spot trim: The XLE is the best all-around pick because it offers the greatest variety of powertrain and drivetrain combinations, giving you more flexibility without jumping straight to the top trim.
- Premium/top trim: The Limited is the most desirable if you want the V6 and AWD standard, along with the most upscale presentation. It is the strongest choice if you value performance and a more fully equipped feel.
- Off-road trim: None of the trims is positioned as an off-road-focused choice.
The safety package is thin across the range, so even the best trim still leaves you without several modern driver-assistance features.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Venza?
This is a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.
- Deal availability: 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 120 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 50.8% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $13,260.82, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Toyota Venza's resale value?
The current average of $13,908 sits slightly above last year's $13,806.
That small increase suggests the market has stayed stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern usually points to predictable demand instead of a fast-depreciating model.
Because the Venza is still attracting value-focused shoppers, a clean example with good equipment and strong condition should remain easier to move than a neglected one. The model’s steady pricing also suggests that well-kept listings can hold their appeal over time.
Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2015 Toyota Venza safe?
The Venza earns a five-star overall crash-test rating from NHTSA, and IIHS gives it top marks in all assessments except for the small overlap frontal-impact test, for which it has not been rated.
It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.
The standard safety equipment is limited: you get a reversing camera, and parking sensors are available, but blind-spot warning, forward-collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, and Toyota Safety Connect are not available on any trim. That means you should not expect modern driver-assistance coverage, even if the crash-test results are strong.
Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Venza or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 50.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
- It combines a roomy cabin, strong value, and the last-year appeal of a model nearing the end of its run.
Consider the 2014 if:
- At $12,091, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $13,908 average.
- It is roomy, comfortable, and stylish.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, space, and current-market availability, the 2015 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2014 is the smarter budget alternative, especially if you can find one in clean condition with the V6.
