Is the 2014 Ford F-250 Super Duty a good car?

Generally — the 4.4/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. Owners most often praise its towing capabilities, spaciousness, comfort, strong engine performance, and reliability. That lines up well if you want a heavy-duty truck that can handle serious work while still serving as a daily driver. With 26.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Ford F-250 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as reliable, dependable, and tough enough for hard use, with many noting strong engine performance and a truck they can count on. That said, you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition, because long-term ownership risk rises quickly when a used heavy-duty truck has been worked hard.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Ford F-250 Super Duty?

At 65.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on signs of heavy use, uneven wear, and any issues that could affect drivability or towing confidence. Because this is a heavy-duty truck, condition matters as much as mileage, so prioritize maintenance records and evidence of careful ownership.

What is the 2014 Ford F-250 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $22,400 sits slightly above last year's $22,254.

That small increase suggests the market has stayed stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to steady buyer interest instead of a weakening market. The truck's strong owner satisfaction also supports demand, especially among shoppers who want capability and comfort in a heavy-duty pickup.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Ford F-250 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 26.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2014 if you want a capable heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval and a stable price environment. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep a close eye on listings near the low end of the range and be ready to compare condition carefully, since the best value will depend heavily on maintenance history and prior use.
