The 2001 Toyota Tundra has received rave reviews from critics, drivers, and passengers alike. They praise the Toyota quality in an American-style, full-size pickup. Though not quite as big as the F-150 or Dodge Ram, it has power to compete with any of them.

The Tundra comes standard with a 3.4-liter double overhead-cam V6 which is rated at 190 horsepower and 220 lb/ft of torque, but most opt for a 4.7-liter V8, rated at 245 horsepower with 315 lb/ft of torque.

The Tundra is cited for not only excellent hauling power, but excellent cornering as well, very rare for a full-size pickup truck.
