Looked at a used car here. They said it was good to go and passed all of their inspections, but it was due for a big preventative maintenance repair and a needed a part replaced that shouldn't have passed an inspection. They not only wouldn't budge on price, but wanted me to pay for them to do the repairs they didn't disclose, but lucky me, they offered it at a discount. Basically there was a hidden fee on top of the normal dealership transfer fees. I either paid the original OTD price and paid outside for a couple thousand in repairs, or I paid them for the car and the work, which wasn't much cheaper than my mechanic would have charged. Either way I would be paying a couple grand extra on sticker price. I thanked the dealer for their help and time anyway, and never got a response back. They were going to dealership me and weren't even decent enough to respond politely in closing.

Everything went great until I signed the final papers then they placed an extended warranty in front of me to sign. Not explaining it or how it works, just sign. Still bought the truck just not the extended warranty.
