Chrysler dealerships near me (Norwich, CT)

The salesman was very nice and pleasant to deal with. They didn’t seem to like that I had my own financing. They tried to match it with the banks they use, but that didn’t work out. I was there for a few hours and it was getting late so I asked them to email me a purchase and sales agreement so I can forward it to my lender. Two days and a few emails later it was finally sent to me, with my name misspelled and an added fee for “security coding” (vehicle etching) that I never agreed to. I asked for a new purchase and sales agreement with my name spelled correctly and to take off the added fee. A few days later I got a call from the sales manager saying they can match my financing and wanted to keep it in house to make it easier. I told them I wanted to use my own financing and was waiting for the salesman to email me back. He replied he will have him contact me in a bit. He never did and I never heard back from them.

Both the salesman in the used car dealership AND the salesman in the dealership were both dismissive of concerns, and very pushy. I mentioned a concern with the brakes and was told “It was a toyota thing, the brakes are fine”. Needless to say i do not recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Horrible. Vehicle was not as advertised and acknowledged by sales staff on arrival after driving over an hour. No alternatives offered and no management intervention, worst experience ever buying cars….and I’ve had some bad ones.

The dealer was rude, unprofessional and had entirely overpriced the vehicle I inquired about. The vehicle is listed on cargurus as 18.7k, not mentioning that it’s actually 20.7k and the prior price is with a trade in assist. For the condition of the vehicle, based on pictures alone, the vehicle was worth less than the 18.7k. I said how I had a total loss on my car when I was rear ended and that I didn’t have a trade in but was interested in looking at the car for 18.7k. I was told that was fine. I then received a text the day of the appointment urging me to bring my trade in with me to my appointment. When I inquired about their poor memory skills and my totaled vehicle. I was told the lowest they would go without a trade was 19.7k. The car wasn’t worth that much so I cancelled my appointment and the car is still on their lot. ☺️ I am now looking at a 2021 with half the mileage and it is an ultimate, not sel, and I’m going to be giving that dealership about 10k more than I would here.
