Love the overall look of this car. But the interior is what killed it for me. It is a modern and chic interior...
Handling Ranked 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD better.
"The handling felt more solid and sporty than even on the civic. It took corners better and handled curves on the road a little nicer. Overall both are great cars I just enjoyed the Mazda more."
Front Seats Ranked 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD better.
"The front seat in the Mazda felt open, lavish and was quite comfortable except for the bottom of the seat was slightly short. On the civic the seat in itself felt rather small and the cockpit like interior made it feel smaller. It felt claustrophobic compared to the mazda."
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD better.
"Mazda has more cargo room."
Family Car Ranked 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD better.
"Mazda. Mazda has more storage and better backseat seating. Thats really about it."
Value Ranked 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD better.
"With all the included safety features and the extras you get( HUD, heated steering wheel etc etc.) For the price tag its hard not to go with the Mazda cx 5. But if youre looking for a sporty smaller vehicle then go with the civic r. But if youre looking for an everyday drive around CSR with some utility, then the Mazda cx 5 is the perfect match."

Family Car Ranked 2018 Honda Accord 1.5T Sport FWD better.
"Car is heavier, but still accelerates and handles well. Its quieter in the highway and does not feel as fragile"
Value Ranked 2018 Honda Accord 1.5T Sport FWD worse.
"Handles very well and has a ton of features for its price. While the Accord is better in most areas such as comfort, As a college student Ill gladly take the extra $4000 off for the Civic Hatchback"

"Both are hatchbacks with versatile cargo but Civic has more with all seats up"
Family Car Ranked 2018 Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback worse.
