I'm trying to put on seat covers but can't get them over or around the seat belts. The belts go through a plastic ring attached by a strip under the headrest. The headrest won't move eithrt

On almost every make or model of car there is a small button/tab on the grommet the headrest posts slide into that will release it so the headrest can be removed. Push and hold that in and slide the headrest all the way out.
