Why does my 92 Pontiac Bonneville high idie when it gets worm?

When u first start it it will ldel at 1000 rpm
but when it gets worm it will go up to 1500 i
would like to know why it does that

Two possibilities, either your Mass Air Flow sensor is dirty or the Idle Control valve are dirty or bad.
