Trying to decide if I should sell or keep and
restore it currently has original engine with
206000 moles original parts we had it 10
years and are second owner my son drove
it daily and now is looking for a new vehicle
and trade in is low but was wondering if we
should keep and rebuild everything to
factory

Move on and sell the car. A 1998 Firebird will not appreciate especially one with over 200K miles. Cut your losses unless you are particularly fond of it or it carries an emotional factor for you or your son.
