Just installed new alternator but car dies when I start. Could it be a bad connection?

Yes. Double check all connections. Was it running ok before the alternator change?

Yes. The battery died on me while driving so I figured it was the alternator but now it starts up then dies


Did you fully recharge or replace the battery too?


Make sure all alternator and battery connections are hooked up correctly.
