$1,200 is the approximate blue book value, but when you subtract cost of engine repair, you'd be lucky to sell for a few hundred. Scrap value is 200ish, depending if you take it in or they have to come and get it. You might get more out of it by parting it out, selling the doors, fenders, body panels, engine & transmission (even if not running) wheels, etc. That could take a long time and you'd still ultimately have to haul remaining parts away for scrap. Don't bother donating it, places that depend on donations really don't want non running junk. IMO best way to get rid of it is put it up on Craigslist as a "mechanic's special" and take whatever you can get for it.
