How to verify the person that came to get my car from cargurus

A random local person came to me and stated they were from cargurus in reg.
clothing, she did know we had the folder of sale and did have the printed tag to
go on the sold car but how is she going to get the truck to cargurus if she drove
herself in a reg. car? Its just a fishy set up with us not knowing how cargurus
does it and carvana has a carvana truck to take the car away.

Sorry to say, but you've been duped. Cargurus is just a listing site and has nothing to do with the physical vehicles that are listed for sale here. Next stop, sadly, is the police..... Do contact Cargurus under the help link below and apprise them of what happened.

If she left the vehicle she arrived in, that's probably stolen too! Be sure to point that out to the police too! If nothing else you might be helping someone else get their vehicle back! Good luck to you!! Jim
