front end humming 2006 pontiac torrent

I bought a 2006 pontiac torrent last November. It
has been a nightmare. There is a front end
humming that sounds centre of the vehicle. It's
loudest at around 70kmh but mostly gets louder
the faster you go. I've had the wheel hub
assemblies replaced, new centre bearing, new rear
drive shaft, new tires, new rear diff, and new
transfer case. And after all those bad series of
events the humming is STILL there. I around
around my around my total loss as to why I can't
get this howl to go away. My mechanic has
basically given up on it. I've looked it up on many
forums and everyone always says wheel hub/new
tires. Neither of these solutions worked for me.
Any other ideas?

Did you ever find out what it was. Im having the same issue
I ended up doing all 4 wheel bearings and the half shafts in the front and it went away. I suspect it is the wheel bearing as I've gone through quite a few with this vehicle. I bought higher quality bearings and they've been good since and the noise went away almost a year now with no hum. But otherwise this vehicle is still a money pit. It's awful.
I've bought a 2006 torrent recently myself and same issue as above, humming gets louder at 70km and was told my bearing are good so what else can be the problem?
They told me that the ball under the suv needed oil and oil change that’s why it makes that noise

Having a similar issue 2006 Torrent. Sounds like a Power Steering Pump is low but there is no Power steering pump. Makes a Buzzing noise even at idle so it's not a wheel bearing. Sounds like hydraulic fluid is low somewhere but there is no Hydraulic fluid in a pump system that I can locate. I am almost leaning twords it being an alternator issue because that seems to be the area the sound is coming from. My power steering works fine and the noise does not increase or decrease when the wheel is being turned which would be the case if it was low Power steering fluid. Did anyone have this issue and figure out what the sound is? Thanks, I'll start ripping things apart on it soon if I can't figure it out probably starting with replacing the alternator even though I have never heard an alternator make this noise before.
