Where do I locate where the gear oil is pord into

the motor oil is usually around top of the motor or around the side. Look for the cap with the teardrop on it. the gear oil.. is it a stick shift or automatic? I see the year make and model but you didn't say anything about transmission style

By gear oil, are you asking where to add the transmission fluid? It is done from underneath via a fill plug and quite messy and a special procedure. Have a mechanic help you out as it is involved.
