High Idle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had the engine completely rebuilt and now it won't get out of
high idle.  1990 Straight -six.  Remains in high idle even after
pressing gas pedal to the floor and releasing it.  Any suggestions,
please?

might be idle air sensor,you can take it of and clean it.carbon builds up inside and keeps it from working propely.
