Why won't my van start?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've got 50# fuel pressure, spark, timing set, cylinders are all
around 150#. Still wont start, al m.j ost will if you hold the
pedal to the floor?????

Have you repaired the problem. I chased a won't start but will crank over problem for two years. Ended up being the pickup coil inside the distributor was bad. Replaced the whole distributor $100 and one hour.

    I put in a brand new battery. It starts up fine when cold. After I drive it on a long trip it drags like it doesn't want to start. When i let it cool for several hours it starts right up fine.
