Is it a requirement to replace the hub when replacing the ball bearins on a 97' Ford E 150, just trying to save a few $$$

Vehicle is making a rough sounds while driving. Like is riding on a very rough
surface. And it clicks bad when I press on the breaks.

It is best to replace the wheel hub assembly verses trying to press out the hub from the bearing, then reassembling. You may damage the wheel sensor on the hub assembly. The new hub assembly I'm sure you know is all new, hub, bearing & wheel sensor. Just save yourself some grief and time.
