Premium Gas Recommend

On my dash it says "premium gas recommend" does that mean I have to use 91/92
octane gas or can I use 89/90 octane gas?

91 octane or better. Anything less and you risk damage to the engine. "Penny wise, pound foolish"

It is an eighteen year old Oldsmobile- the lower grade gas won't make much difference at this point- it ain't gonna blow yo' engine up-

april 29 2019 My 1998 Oldsmobile aurora has 265,860 miles on it. I have owned it for two years. I use plain old cheap regular gas with no issues. This car averages 23.4 mpg has full synthetic oil and change every 4,000 miles. No mechanical problems with drive train. a pleasure to drive jb marlow nh

I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora with 24,000 miles on it what octane gas should I put it in I use pure synthetic oil

I also have a 2001 olds aurora v8!!! 168k miles on it have driven since May 2020, use regular unleaded 87 or 89 & runs great!!!!!
