Burning Smell After Driving

Asked by GuruKMK1K Dec 18, 2019 at 01:47 PM about the 2020 Subaru Outback Limited AWD

Question type: General

We just purchased a 2020 Subaru Outback earlier this week and have noticed
an odd burning smell when getting out of the car.  We are chalking it up to being
new and items have to be "worn in".  Are we on the right path?  Or could there
be a true issue?  It seems to be coming from the tires, and no the parking brake
is not on

I suppose this could be from the hot exhaust system burning off small amounts of contaminants. If the smell persists you should tell your dealer.
