Did you check to make sure you have TRANSMISSION FLUID in the car? It's usually the #1 culprit to transmission that don't work.

I want to know what wrong with my 2001nissan sentra it a standard I can shift my gear and they move and they don't grind when I turn the car on the gear move around without grinding it just don't move my car

Yes i did check the transmission fluid and it was good
