1999 Nissan Altima Blower Motor not coming on at all.
So as the title says the blower motor isn't coming on at all. I have already replaced the
resistor and it worked for about a day and it stopped again. I took out the blower motor
entirely and hot wired it to the battery and it spools up. I have replaced the switch in
the HVAC control above the radio to no avail. I have check every fuse having to do with
the blower motor Fuse 1 and 2 on the drivers side kick panel to no avail either. Im at
my whits end and my Fiance has to drive it without any heat in the winter with a small
child. I'm unsure what else to check any ideas?
sometimes this can happen if the blower motor itself is drawing to much amperage. you might need a new blower motor. oem parts are the best.
Is there any way I could test if it is in fact drawing too much amperage?
the jack wire [g] that feeds the motor should show 12 volt using a test light or vom with key on and switch on, the ground wire [bk] should be always ground
