Repair time on wiring replacement

A competent mechanic can swap an engine in a day or two. It sounds like your boyfriend is trying to save you money by doing it himself, but that will take time. 2002 to 2006 is the third generation and I would only swap an engine and harness from those model years. You would also need to find another manual vehicle to use that harness. The automatic could be different. Your issue sounds more personal than mechanical. Good Luck.

2nd parts car was same year 2006 and yes a Manuel , so how long does it take to replace wiring? Clearly not since april? Keep in mind his 93 f150 supposedly broke needed same put new engine and his help broke wiring harness he said, so now as of May 21 his truck fixed and not my car , keeps stating its close, and won't disclose location. And threatened that because I questioned about unauthorised transactions at different places that, the shop owner will send me a bill for labor storage and my bf towing which he rented uhaul car dollie on his own and hauled it. He does not work at said shop he said its a friends and they offered , if im correct. If I did make any agreements of anything , but nope I haven't not even I really I've asked location and status pictures and date of completion.. every automobile repair facility doing business in the Commonwealth shall provide the customer a written statement of (i) the estimated cost of labor necessary to complete the work, (ii) the estimated cost of parts necessary to complete work, (iii) a description of the problem or work as described or authorized by the customer, and (iv) the estimated completion time.

My thoughts are this guy is bleeding you for money. Do not give him any more money for anything else! If the so called shop wants to charge you for labor and storage, great, have them send the bill to YOU!! Then you'll know who has your cars and where! You also want these so called parts cars that were bought with your money complete with the titles so you can junk them and get some of your money back! Now I'm going to be brutally honest and please don't be offended because I'm on your side with this! It sounds to me like your boyfriend has a drug problem and needs money to buy drugs! My guess is Opioids. Start doing some investigating and if you find out this is what's going on, demand he gets help, real help, or leave him, for good! Something is wrong with this whole situation! To answer your question it should take maybe three days tops to change the wiring harness. That's assuming the person is a do it yourselfer and is doing the job in a driveway.
