How prevent 2019 Nissan Rogue blower from running for ~5 seconds at startup?

Each time I start my Rogue, the blower runs for about 5 seconds, even if the climate control system is off. This happened after I bought the car last summer, and it continued into November, then it stopped happening. Now it's happening again, which makes me wonder if it's somehow related to the outside temperature. (I live near Portland, Oregon, so the temperatures are never extreme.) I find this behavior very annoying, and I want to prevent the blower from running automatically when I start the car. Does anybody know how I can achieve that?

my 2019 rogue sl does the same thing at startup; blower runs, (on very low speed), for about 3 seconds, then shuts off I assumed this was just by design and its never really bothered me.. the rest of the hvac system works great, as does all the cruise controls, safety shield 360 functions, and everything else; its just another little quirk of these rogues along with the radio issues that are addressed in another thread..please post the response you get from your dealer, I'm curious to see if there is a workaround..still looking forward to the 2021 rogue, it looks great to me!
