How critical is Subaru cvt fluid level

Asked by Joshcmas Jul 14, 2019 at 05:57 PM about the 2019 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Hatchback AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Accidentally drained a little less than 1/2 a
quart of tranny fluid from my 2019 Subaru
Impreza. How concerned should I be? If it
were my F250 I wouldn’t be concerned at all
but I’d also be able to check the level if I
wanted to. Subaru does not give me that
option. Thanks for any info.

I would top it off ASAP. The Subaru CVT's have one foot in the grave from new, no need to help them along.
