Check all connections and grounds

Thanks.. does that mean you have to take the transmission back out?

No, just inspect everywhere for loose wires or plug connections

I see thank you for taking the time to answer.

Another thing.. when I started the car it seem like the engine flooded and I'm saying this because when it wouldn't start again - we checked the spark plugs and they were wet with gas. We let the car cool down overnight but still it would not start.

Were you pumping the gas pedal when you were cranking the engine, if so that's a no no with fuel injection.

Yes unfortunately that happened but thought once the gas dissipated it would start which is not what happened.
