My son's 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse- when you turn the key in the ignition nothing happens- no dash lights- no engine start- door chime comes on- headlights won't come on- if you jump from another vehicle it starts and runs fine- next time you get in it same story- battery tested fine- what the @#$%!%

Battery tested fine? Who tested it? I still think the battery is weak based on your description. What is your voltage? Check your battery terminals and cables, one might be loose or corroded.

im with tom sounds like your battery is bad,,, get it started then take it to advance auto and have them test it, keep in mind that if you keep driving it with a bad battery it will eventually kill your alternator because it continually works to charge the battery but the battery don't take the charge because its bad,, might have them check your alternator as well as you might of damaged that depending on how much you've driven it
