Defective ECU or Grounded Electrical system

Asked by Guru9L86Z9 Sep 07, 2021 at 04:19 AM about the 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer ES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car won't start due to a defective ignition coil. Lube oil is flooding the
cylinder as well. After replacing the ignition coil assembly, one of the ignition coil
felt warm even when the starter is switched off. The mechanic thinks the
electrical system is grounded, but couldn't confirm the trouble. Please help
