truck has no power thru the ignition

I have a 1990 Chevy r3500. I was driving it and went over a rough set of railroad tracks and the truck died. I have
power to the headlights but no power thru the ignition. I changed the ignition switch  but that didn't fix the
problem.  what do I check next?

Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. I saw a 20 amp ignition fuse in your fuse box, that fuse is hot all the time. Not only check the fuse, use a test light on the fuse to check for voltage. Also, check fusible links, where applicable. One of the positive battery leads should go to fusible links/battery junction block. If the fusible link will stretch, it's no good. My wiring diagrams for your model year, aren't very good. Voltage and grounds both are important.
