Cooled Seats option turning itself on

Asked by Guru9D4G6F Oct 25, 2020 at 10:27 AM about the 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty Platinum Crew Cab 4WD

The cooled seat option will activate/turn itself on when I start the truck
manually or remotely on occasion.  The option was not left on when I turned
the truck off.  The Ford dealership said that it has never heard of the problem
before.  They rebooted my computer system, and told me to let them know if
it continues.  It is still doing it probably 2 out of 10 starts.

Interesting. Post updates when you can. If I had to guess this is what is supposed to happen when the interior is hot. Perhaps it is a faulty temperature sensor?

F_O_R are you saying that there is a cab temperature sensor? If so, the diesel mechanic manager at the dealership told me - he had never heard of a problem like that nor could he guess why that is happening. If in fact it does have a cab sensor that might be faulty - that would explain it. looking forward to your response. Thank you!

As I continue to look online - I now see there is in fact a cab temperature sensor. Sorry to bother you again, and thanks for the help
