How much oil too put in and does weight matter ? has 22400 miles and planing on using 20/50 weight, is that ok ?

Where do you live? 20W-50 is too thick for the 3.0L engine. 5W-30 is recommended. I wouldn't go higher than 10W-30. I assume your leaking a lot from the gaskets at this point. You can try high mileage oil, and use the same weight of 5W-30 or 10W-30

20/50 will work in summer on your worn engine- go to thinner oil in winter- that's all- simple-
