HELP! without a vehicle would like to know what's going on?

I have a 2003 mountaineer.  The o/d light came on
and the message center  read to check
transmission.  You can't drive past 30mph

sounds like there is an issue with the transmission and its in limp mode

ok I changed the pads on all four yires and needed to replace the two rotors on the back tire of my 2000 mountaineer .my truck stops but my pedal is going all the wy to the floor what is the problem a 2 Answers

as I said my pedal is going all the way to the floor after I replaced the break pads and the rotors on the back the vehicle stops but the break pedal goes all the way to the floor
