2004 Mercury Mountaineer V8 AWD feels like it will stall at turns?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi there,
We have a 04 Mountaineer V8 AWD and when you turn, there's a feeling of
shaking, almost like it will stall out. This only happens while turning and your
foot is not pressing on the pedal.the vehicle also has to be going at a small
speed. The heat is on but the fan is low. We haven't tested if their is a
difference when the heat is off. Can't be anything suspension related because
it doesn't do it all the time. Seems to be becoming more noticeable. Anyone
ever had this issue with their vehicle or have any ideas? Thanks!

Check your front tires for proper clearance between them and the fender well and look for any cupping or unusual wear along their inside and outside edges.
