my 2003 mpv cuts off while i'm driving..sometimes it does it multiple times other times it doesn't cutoff at all

it has other problems as well..my engine is on and i'm not sure if my catalic converter is shot or the sensors are bad

What do you mean "engine is on"? Is your check engine light on? Have the van's codes scanned, it will tell you exactly what your issue or sensor it is. Cats are probably fine.
