Change battery in my 2018 forester, now the power steering and the eye sight does not work. What did I do wrong?
Change the battery in my 2018 Forester yesterday and now the power
steering and eye sight quit working. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
It could be that the fuses for those devices were blown when you connected the new battery. If you didn't use a memory saver during the battery change, your car might have lost the settings for those and they might come back by themselves within a few restarts. The car's under warranty, ask the dealer about this; they might need to be reprogrammed.
Next time use a memory saver!
Unlikely to be fuses, but yes, restart a few times while driving a bit.
