Car lights go dim while running n when I cutt it off it will not start back up

When I start my Lincoln 2000 LS it will run then the lights go dim I cutt off the can n now it won't start back like the battery is dead

Sounds like you have a charging system problem. Need to test the alternator to see if it is generating power.
