Replacing spark plugs

Asked by GuruT851Z Jul 10, 2018 at 09:21 PM about the 2000 Lincoln Continental FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 2000 Lincoln Cont 32 valve car.  I replaced the spark plugs awhile ago
and everything went.  But recently I took a plug out and it will not screw back
in.  I examined the hole and it looks pretty good.  Have tried to put it back in
about 20 times, but just does not catch and screw in.

1 Answer

I would tap the hole to clean up the threads.
