Just bought an '98 escort zx2. runs great and is in line. but when i am turning left into a corner. The back end of the car seems to float or like the car will make a sudden movement to the left . Like the back end is slipping around the corner. what is this?

FYI*There are new tires on the back of this car and good tires on the front.
