My 1999 ford Taurus wont start it wont even turn over what do i do im stranded
Get a jump from another vehicle, and get the car somewhere to have the battery & charging system checked out.
if you jump it and when you remove the cables it dies, you will need a alternator, in that case you could charge the battery and it will run for a short time, incase you want to drive it to a garage, the Taurus with the 3.0L OHV is easy to change but the 3.0L OHC not so much
You never want to remove the battery cables when it is running as you would cause damage to the ecm and systems. You could get away with doing that on the older vehicles up to the 70's but damage could occur even so...
so when you told them to get a jump from somebody, you meant what??
What? you do not know how to jump start a car?
