Jeep liberty 2003 crankshaft sensor keeps failing

I have a bad crankshaft sensor, the engine
wasn't start so I replaced the sensor and
after 10 min the new sensor fail so I
replaced again and after 10 min that sensor
fail, so I don't know if is a good idea to
change the sensor for the 3rd time

Check your wiring to your sensor and the plug. I think your sensor might be blowing from the hot wire touching a ground.
