My 2002 Jeep Liberty died while I was driving the RPM gage went up then it killed. I can't get it to restart. It clicks and nothing happens. I replaced the starter... Nothing same issue won't start.

A starter wouldn't have caused the engine to shut off while driving. Did a shop replace the starter? They should have scanned for trouble codes. You might have more than one issue going on. Engine surge then dying can be a bad MAF sensor or bad crankshaft position sensor or ? It's something that would have to be diagnosed.

No my brother in law is a mechanic and did it. I told him that same thing but he insisted. Now it's really clicking when I turn the key. Idk what to do! No one can tell me what it is and I hate to spend more money on fixing what might be the issue

Are you sure the battery is fully charged? Have you tried jump starting it? The clicking/starter is one issue, the engine surge/die is another. Make sure the battery is charged, terminals are cleaned, and all battery leads/ground well connected including the starters.

Mine does the same. I thought it was the key or ignition and I replaced it .it started and all was well til a week later..it started and then it shut off...as if gas wasn't flowing
