Hey, I recently purchased a 1999 ford explorer Eddie Bauer edition. Anyways, the ac works but will NOT turn off even if you push the 'off' button. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Check the A/C relay, it could be stuck closed.

Hey thanks for pointing this out. My dad and I checked the a/c relay and it was fine, however, I'm trying to conserve gas and the a/c being on was very annoying. We ended up pulling out the blower motor relay fuse which basically turned off the a/c. Thanks for the help.
