hey i just replaced mine not to long ago and i had a pretty hard time as well the trick i used to get it out was acually prying the bracket over just a tad and removing the transmision brace that runs just under the starter as well.. hope thisa helps...

Thanks Rabbit, It has been done for almost two years. Bent the bracket, removed the brace, removed the flywheel inspection plate, finally got it out then stretched the wires to the limit to get the wires unbolted. I have never seen a starter come out so hard.

u all suck donkey balls an are the stupidist fuckin mechanics if u cant get a starter off a fuckin pick up #dumbasses!!!!!!!$$$$$$$$$ #karmakingisagreatmechanic!!!$$$$$$$
