False Advertising

I found a vehicle while searching your site. It was listed on CarGurus for 4
days. I received a pre approval for the advertised amount, however now the
vehicle is listed at a much higher price. What happens in this event?

Did the dealer adjust the price or are you looking at the Cargurus IMV amount? The IMV is a ballpark number that the vehicle you are looking at is selling for. Contact the dealer on the actual price.

I've seen this type of thing before. When someone shows an interest in a vehicle the Dealer hikes up the price hoping to get more money out of the vehicle. Best to not deal with an unscrupulous place like that! Keep shopping, I'm sure there's another Silverado out there at a fair playing Dealer who deserves your business! Hope that helps! Jim
