best strategies to negotiate price down with a dealer?
I haven't purchased a vehicle in over 7 yrs. Any good strategies to get pricing down with a dealer? I already have financing lined up.
Research the car, get comps and or what other vehicles of the same make and model are selling for. Have an independent mechanic look the car over first and if there is any issues, you have some wiggle room. Watch the fees and other adders to the Bill of Sale. Get some prices online first to start the negotiation and get a starting point. HTH's
